In
developing the SC11S1 Marantz engineers took as much
as possible from the Reference Series SC7S2. For
example, the full balanced layout in-current
feedback technology was applied, guaranteeing
excellent signal integrity. Then the Wolfson high
linear electric volume control and the new version
of small signal amplifier HDAM – specially developed
by Marantz – were added. The unit now incorporates
the HDAM-SA2, which guarantees precision high-speed
signal handling over a wide frequency range. It also
uses high precision Melf resistors to minimise
tolerances – essential for audio integrity. While
the high quality in-current feedback phono amplifier
for the MM/MC system makes external phono amplifier
obsolete. And for advanced systems the floating
control bus allows bi-amp and multi-channel set-ups.
It all adds up to a scintillating audio experience
with crystal clear transparency
